Okay, I admit it.... (just don't tell handsome I said it). "I have way to many stamps sets!" I have never counted the sets, I guess that is good in a way - maybe??? Oh and by the way this isn't all of them! I have many more boxed up in the mini barn. Yikes! Maybe I should sale some..... what'ca think? Maybe I could organize a bit better so you and I can find what we are looking for easier?!? What'ca think about that??? Hummm.... I am thinking it is about time to end the hunting madness.
So I had a free afternoon, can you believe that? I took all my retired words and verses Stampin Up stamp sets out and broke them open into piles, according to occasions. May I repeat retired sets. I left the current sets in tack for teaching and sharing. Some I wanted to keep and a few I am able to part with. So I picked up a few plastic shoe boxes, hoping five would do the trick... bahahahah!
Ta-da! Look here. I did have to run to the store for four more shoe boxes, but I have them all organized into occasions that fit them best and now we can put our hands on just the right box for the greetings we want, instead of searching and searching and searching.
I labeled the boxes with a shapie marker; Birthday, Scripture, Christmas, Holidays (moms & dads day, Easter, Thanksgiving, Halloween, 4th, ect.) Baby and Wedding, Sympathy and Get Well, Thinking of You and Friendship, Thank You, and Misc. Everyday. This system looks cleaner, has already save me time in hunting for the right stamp and I think you will love it to0 when you come to play.
I emptied 54 Stamp box down to nine shoe boxes! Yah pretty impressive! So who needs some extra FREE stamp boxes?
So what do I do with the wiggle room on my stamp shelves... Oh ya - buy some more new ones. Have you checked out the new catalog yet??? OH my goodness. Click on the link at the left and you can buy buy buy too!
