So are you singing the song yet? You better watch out - You better not cry -
Santa Clause is coming to town!
Penny McNesh shared with me a really cute design that she had made at Halloween that had a scarey touch to this cute project. I just loved it and the simplicity to it. I wanted something like it for Christmas - so I came up with this.To Make:
I printed the verses on the computer and used a punch to punch them out. I cut my Real Red card stock to 2 1/2" x 4 1/2 ". I scored at the 2" mark and at the 4" mark. Fold and crease well on the score lines. I placed one mint wrapper end in the 1/2" fold section and moved the candy to the top of the wrapper so it wouldn't get caught in the stapler, I stapled the 1/2" section closed over the candy wrapper. Then I placed the second candy in and repeated the same thing.
I punched out tow 1/2" black circles and pop dotted them to the center of the candy. I added a little white gel pen highlight to the eyes. I die cut out the mustache from whisper white card stock and pop dotted it over the staples. I punched out a 1/2" pink circle for the nose and glued it in place. Then I glued and popped dotted the punched versed on. Fold the top flap under the mustache to complete.
I used:
Card Stock: Read Red, Whisper White, Basic Black and Pink Pirouette
Ink: White Gel Pen - ohh love!
Punch: 1/2" circle, and one that will fit your greeting.
Die: Mustache framelit
