Avenues

 I have been sewing a lot lately. I took a class on foundation paper piecing and love it! This super simple wall quilt was so fun to make and I had the best teacher too. Lisa, from Unraveled Quilt Shop in Spencer Indiana is a sweetheart. Click on the link to view her web site.

 I am thinking this would make a lovely Christmas gift, but I am finding it hard to part with. I love the colors, design and especially the embroidery.

Its hard to tell in the picture, but I used this new grunge fabric. It has smears of blue and white over white and it is so perfect for "sky" backgrounds. I love it in every color.
